St. Paul's is a member congregation of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations which has its headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. It is the teaching of our Association that the local congregation is the right form of the Kingdom of God on earth. There is, therefore, no human authority over the local congregation. Rather we voluntarily join together to accomplish tasks we can not do on our own. But the Association has no power to bind the conscience of the congregation.
